My oncologist consulted with several leaders in testicular cancer on my case and has decided that my tumor markers and CT scan results are sufficient to stick with the original plan of 3 rounds of BEP, making this my final round!
This is the first week of my third round of treatment. The first week of a round I am in the hospital for most of the day receiving Bleomycin on Monday and Cisplatin/Etoposide Monday through Friday. This is the week where I feel the worst, although the feeling is likely to continue through next week. My nurse told me that based on my response in the last rounds I can expect to feel pretty nauseous all the way to next weekend.
So far, I feel more out of it this round than I have the past two, but I’m excited to say that I’m done with Cisplatin and Etoposide hopefully forever! More to come tomorrow. At the moment I feel a little bit too sick to keep writing.

It’s been tougher than I expected, but you’re almost at the end of the treatments now. I’m glad it went as well as it did.
